The Saturnalia is the Roman feast commemorating the temple of Saturn and was originally celebrated for only a day, but it became so popular that soon it lasted a week. Marked by tomfoolery and reversal of social roles, it was a time to eat, drink, and be merry. StÃҼhrling Original honors the famed Roman festival adding to one of its most popular series in their entire Gallery of Timepieces, the second timepiece to bear the Saturnalia name, the new Saturnalia DT! One of three watches in our collection to share the double milled step design bezel, the DT makes an impression all its own. Within the impressive 45mm case is one of the few Stuhrling watches that feature a power reserve indicator, but this is only part of what makes the Saturnalia DT a stand out piece! This is a dual time watch with separate sub dials at 9 and 3 o’clock, each featuring different style hands: skeletonized (left) and alpha style (right). The fourth sub dial in the shape of an arc at 6 o’clock is the date indicator. Also, to ensure maximum readability of the sub dials, the seconds hand was done in a razor thin, minimalist style. The Saturnalia DT is protected by Stuhrling Original’s durable Krysterna crystals, and it comes mounted in a crocodile embossed genuine French leather strap, padded for comfort. The push deploy clasps help to preserve the leather, keeping this watch looking fresh and new longer.
