Quality Automatic movement with 34 hour power reserve Round-shaped stainless steel polished case Silver skeletonized dial with blue hour and minute hands Black crocodile embossed genuine leather strap Water-resistant to 165 feet (50 M)A great feat of engineering and craftsmanship is required to create a skeleton watch, timepieces with part of the dial removed to reveal the movement underneath. It takes even greater skill to remove the dial completely, and that’s what Stuhrling Original did with the Winchester 44. This magnificent watch has been in a staple in our collection, and our fans will all tell you the same thing: they love it! The Winchester 44 is a third take at the original Winchester Skeleton. Rather than keeping the 40mm case of its predecessor, the Grand has been upgraded to an impressive 44mm case design. As mentioned earlier, we’ve eschewed the dial completely and included a stainless steel faceplate instead. It consists of a ring that suspends the 12, 3, 6, and 9 Arabic numerals while the bridges that function as the hour markers are attached to the case. The result: the movement, decorated by intricate hand-engraved scrollwork, appears to be floating! Blued hands were also included for easy at-a-glance reading. The Winchester 44 is protected by a domed Krysterna crystal at the face and a flat crystal on the exhibition case back. It comes mounted in a genuine leather strap with crocodile embossing for a combination of comfort and style.

interesting watch Pros:- novel design- automaticCons:- noisy. You can hear every tic even in a noisy environment if your hand is relative close- the leather seems to be deteriorating fast (4-5 months of wear)- keeps momentum for about 24h before it stops- upon closer inspection the finish touch could have been betterMy conclusion:- buy it for something new- don`t expect to last long- $139 it`s too much, and the discounts presented are…
I purchased this watch on May 21, 2011. I have always longed for a skeleton and the Stuhrling was my first pick. I became aware of the Stuhrling brand after purchasing one for my mother, but had to return it due to its complexity. However, this watch is very good looking and the metals are a lot shinier that the picture suggest. I’ve even had comments from women stating they like my watch very much. The leather is also still intact, but shows only slight wear even though it has been worn…
